Wastewater Treatment Plant

Last January 30, took place the opening and inaugural ceremony of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Vila Cova de Alva in Arganil.

The construction of the WWTP of Vila Cova de Alva, was a project in which the CINCLUS provided the Supervision of the Construction Works, Quality Management, Safety Coordination of the Construction and Environmental Management Coordination.
This project also included the construction of three other WWTP: WWTP in São Martinho da Cortiça, the WWTP in Barril de Alva and the WWTP in Pomares and also around five kilometers of connection emissaries in Arganil.

This ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Águas do Centro Litoral, Eng. Claudio de Jesus and also the Mayor of Arganil, Eng. Ricardo Pereira Alves.

The WWTP Vila Cova de Alva, is ready to receive a domestic effluent of 450 inhabitants and treat about 75 cubic meters per day of wastewater.
